Centerville Goes To Hell

It’s this Saturday! Make sure you check out the event page on Facebook and let us know if you’re coming.

This will be our final show at this location. Thanks to all of your support and enthusiasm, our little place can no longer hold all of you. We’re on the lookout for a new spot, but for now, we’re very much looking forward to having you join us on our descent into the abyss!

April Fools, and Hello World!

We sure got you, didn’t we?

…no? Well, you’re smarter than we thought. Which is why we like you so much.

But we bet you didn’t see this coming: the brand new Centerville Studios site! Completely equipped with music profiles, event calendars and an online store, we can be more focused and organized than ever in making what we all do that much more of a force to be reckoned with. This community that Centerville is a part of is filled with talented and devoted artists. We want to help perpetuate your passions in any way that we can.

What we have right now:

  • The Centerville Blog
Tell us what you guys are up to, and we’ll happily spread the word! Working on an album? Organizing a gallery? Launching a project? We’ll gladly share the news!
  • The Events Page
If you have an event coming up, let us know! We can feature the date in our communal calendar!
  • Music Profiles
Complete with a news and events feed, these profiles also include bios, music, discography listings and videos. Plus, you can get likes on your Facebook page straight through your Centerville profile! It’s as if our little microcosm had its own social network.
  • Store @ Centerville
Powered by the magnificent people at bigcartel, the Centerville store is a place where you guys can sell your products online. We’ll host your goods for free! Find out more about our store and our rules here.

What’s planned for the near future:

  • Contributors
If you’re in a band, your name goes in the members area. But what if you’re in more than one project? Click the name of a member, and if they have more projects, you’ll see a listing of what else they’re up to. This won’t be exclusive to music, either. As we grow, so will the contributor lists!
  • Visual Art Galleries
We love art. We want more. Contact us today with your photos, illustrations, films, sculptures and whatever else you’ve got; we want you to have profiles, too!
  • The Centerville ‘Zine
We’re in cahoots with Susan Konz, who’s taking her publication We Are This Far Down The River and fusing with Centerville to release a physical publication that will be available publicly, both in print and online through this site!

What you need to be involved:

  • Anything.
If you want to share it, we’ll happily help you out. If you want to be a part, just say so!

How you can help:

  • Spread the word!
Tell your friends about what we’re up to! When someone new sees what we’re up to and joins our community, that makes us one person stronger!
  • Give us feedback!
We want to know what you like and what you don’t. After all, this is our online home. Let’s build it together.

We’re really excited to hear from you guys! We can’t wait to move forward!

Love,
Management.

Centerville Music Launch

After a grueling few months, we’re pleased to unveil the new music section of the Centerville site. Here’s where we’ll feature news, bios, audio and exclusives from our family of musically gifted friends all in one location. Look for new music, find your favorites and keep up to date with what’s going on with the artists. Why go anywhere else?

The Store is Open For Business!

Well, it had been for a while, but let’s call this a grand re-opening. We’re more serious than ever about getting your ideas our there. If you’re an artist, musician, or something in between, let us know and we’ll do our best to help you get your merch online. And you only pay us if you sell something! Neat, huh?
